Split / Extract PDF Pages Online

Click page thumbnails, Shift-select ranges, extract to a new file in one click

Only need pages 20-35 of a 100-page document? This free tool makes splitting a PDF as intuitive as picking photos: all pages appear as thumbnails, click to select, Shift-click for ranges, and extract the selection into a new PDF in one click.

Typical uses: pulling the signature page out of a contract, extracting one chapter of a thesis, separating batch-scanned documents, or deleting unwanted pages (just select the pages to keep).

As always, everything is processed locally in your browser - no upload, no page limits, no watermark, and extraction is instant.

How to use

  1. Open the PDF to split (split mode starts automatically)
  2. Click page thumbnails to select; Shift-click selects a range
  3. Or "Select all" and deselect the pages you don’t need
  4. Click "Extract selected" to download the new PDF

FAQ

Can I split every page into its own file?

The current version extracts a selection into one new file. For one-file-per-page, repeat the extraction as needed.

Is the original file modified?

No. Extraction produces a new file; the original PDF stays untouched.

Is quality preserved?

Yes. Pages are copied as-is without re-rendering - text, images, and vector content stay lossless.

Can I extract non-contiguous pages?

Yes. Combine individual clicks and Shift-ranges in any pattern.
