Yes. Recognition is image-based and does not rely on the PDF text layer, so scans, screenshots, and phone photos all work. Sharper images with complete borders give the best accuracy.

Are merged cells preserved?

Yes. The structure model outputs colspan/rowspan, and the exported xlsx keeps merged cells intact.

Can I convert a multi-page PDF?

Tables are recognized page by page. For multi-page reports, process and review each page - accuracy with a quick check beats blind batch conversion.

Is my file uploaded anywhere?
