Rotate PDF Pages Online
Rotate single pages or the whole file by 90°/180° - saved permanently for every reader
A scanner fed the paper sideways, a phone photo came out upside down, someone sent you a landscape PDF - the "rotate view" in your reader is only temporary and resets when you reopen the file. This free tool writes the rotation into the PDF itself: each page can be rotated 90°, 180°, or 270° independently, and the saved file displays upright in every reader on every device.
All pages appear as thumbnails, so sideways pages are easy to spot - click the rotate button to fix them, whether it is a few pages or the whole document. Rotation is lossless: only the page orientation property changes, text and image quality are untouched.
Processing happens entirely in your browser; the file is never uploaded. Download the fixed PDF directly, or apply it back to the editor to continue with bookmarks, watermarks, and more.
How to use
- Open the PDF (the page organizer opens automatically)
- Spot the sideways pages in the thumbnail grid
- Click the rotate button on each page card (90° clockwise per click)
- Click "Download" to save the permanently rotated PDF
FAQ
How is this different from rotating the view in my reader?
Reader rotation only affects your current session. This tool writes the rotation into the PDF page properties, so the file opens upright everywhere, permanently.
Does rotating reduce quality?
No. Only the page Rotate property is changed - content is not re-rendered, so text and images keep their original quality.
Can I rotate only some pages?
Yes. Every page is controlled independently, e.g. rotate only the landscape table pages and leave the rest as-is.
Can I reorder pages at the same time?
Yes. The page organizer combines drag-to-reorder, rotate, and delete in one view - a single download applies everything.
